NAATI Translation

NAATI ( is Australia’s National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters. It is the national standards and certifying authority for translators and interpreters in Australia, and the only organisation to issue certification to practitioners who wish to work in this profession in Australia.

A NAATI translation is required for most official purposes in Australia, particularly relating to visas. Bodies such as the Department of Home Affairs, Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Engineers Australia, etc., will always require a NAATI translation.

I have extensive experience in translations for visas, including:

  • Birth certificates
  • Marriage certificates
  • Death certificates
  • Police clearance certificates
  • University degrees and transcripts
  • Medical reports
  • Bank statements
  • Letters of support/employment
  • Contracts

NAATI translations do not expire – please see the official NAATI information on this topic here
