How it works

For a quote, please scan your documents and email them to me at madalenatranslation@gmail.com. I’ll confirm the price and delivery time upon receipt.

I’ll send you a digital version of the certified translation as soon as it’s ready, usually within a maximum of 2-3 days. Please note that the turnaround time given in your quote is valid ONLY on the day that it is offered, and is subject to change if you pay later.

PAYMENT:

Payment is required in advance. Bank transfer is easiest. Because transfers can take several days to go through, I ask that you send confirmation (a screenshot of the receipt is sufficient) before I get to work. Alternatively, I can send you a PayPal request.

Name: Madeline Shearer

BSB: 325-185 (Beyond Bank)

Account no.: 03168889

PayID: madalenatranslation@gmail.com

POSTAGE:

If required, and for an additional fee ($3 standard post, or $9 for Express postage) I’m happy to post you a hard copy too. I’m not able to keep documents on file for too long, so if there’s a chance you may need the hard copy at some point in the future, please request it now or it may be too late!

When a hard copy is required, translations will be printed double-sided to minimise environmental impact. If you require single-sided, just let me know.

DFAT legalisation:

Different authorities have different requirements for translations, and they can change without warning. In some cases, you may be asked to include a copy of the original document stamped and signed by the translator – please check this with the authority you will be presenting the translation to. According to DFAT, this is only when the translation will be used internationally and will require legalisation from DFAT before you present it to the international authority. If you’d like a NAATI stamped and signed version of the original document, just let me know.

You can verify my NAATI certification at https://www.naati.com.au, clicking on “Verify a Credential” – my Practitioner ID is CPN4XI04B.
