About

My passion for languages began in early primary school, initially with French and Japanese. A high school exchange year in Argentina guided me in a different direction, and my love affair with Spanish has now been going for over 20 years.

Since becoming NAATI certified in 2012, I’ve worked on a huge variety of different subjects, including personal documents for visa purposes, legal documents and contracts, magazine articles, medical journals, quarantine forms, technical engineering reports, subtitling, manuals, and cheese making, to name a few.

Before becoming a translator I studied and worked in the international development sector, and am therefore highly qualified to translate in this subject too. I have translated for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Oxfam America, Defence for Children International, Translators Without Borders, and the Australian Red Cross.
